AN 87-year-old man has died after a blaze at his Elland home.
Firefighters rescued him from his home on James Street at 8.10am on Saturday after the blaze in an upstairs room.
But he died the next day in the Calderdale Royal Hospital in Halifax.
The man has not been named and an inquest has yet to open.
Investigations are under way into the cause of the fire.
