A man died in an accident outside Calderdale Royal Hospital.
Police from West Yorkshire’s Major Collision Enquiry Team are appealing for witnesses following the fatal collision this morning.
The incident occurred around 10.30am on Dryclough Lane, near to the hospital, where a male pedestrian and silver Renault Traffic were in collision.
The 59-year-old man was treated at the scene for serious injuries, but died later in hospital.
Sgt Ann Drury said: “I would appeal to anyone who was in the area around Dryclough Road around the time of the incident and may have witnessed what happened, or seen either the vehicle or pedestrian prior to the collision to come forward. Enquiries are ongoing.”
