A MAN has been fined after his land was used for vehicle dismantling.
Dewsbury man Zbigniew Huluk pleaded guilty to not complying with a Kirklees Council enforcement order.
He was fined £1,300 and ordered to pay the council’s costs of £955 at Dewsbury Magistrates’ Court.
Last May Kirklees issued an enforcement notice after the unauthorised change of use of a haulage yard to a vehicle dismantling site.
The land off Water Lane in Thornhill Lees is owned by Huluk. He did not comply with the order despite repeated reminders.
