A MAN who was found dead in Huddersfield Narrow Canal has been named.
The body of Craig Oldroyd, who was 49, was discovered by a family member close to lock 39 in the centre of Marsden, near Warehouse Hill Road, shortly before 7am on Tuesday.
He had been reported missing from his Lakeside home the night before.
Mr Oldroyd’s death is not being treated as suspicious.
An inquest is due to open in Bradford today.
