Man hands himself in rape case

A MAN has been arrested in connection with the alleged rape of a woman in Halifax.

A MAN has been arrested in connection with the alleged rape of a woman in Halifax.

The serious sexual assault took place in Stoney Royd Cemetery, Halifax, at 3pm on Sunday afternoon.

The 47-year old handed himself in to a police station in the Scarborough area of North Yorkshire yesterday.

He will now be brought to a police station in West Yorkshire for questioning.
