A MAN was injured by a hit-and-run driver in Denby Dale.
The incident, involving a white Vauxhall Nova, took place in Wakefield Road, near its junction with Highbridge Lane, at about 4.10pm yesterday.
The 28-year-old walker, from Scissett, was taken to Huddersfield Royal Infirmary suffering from a bruised hip and shoulder.
The car had been travelling towards Scissett and failed to stop.
