A MAN is critically ill after an accident on a motorway roundabout.
The 69-year-old motorist was driving a green Nissan Almera car, which was in collision with another car and a signpost on the Chain Bar roundabout just off junction 26 of the M62 at 12.30pm yesterday.
The man lives at Odsal and was taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary, where he was said to be in a critical condition today.
A police spokesman said: "The Almera was queueing on the inside lane at traffic lights on Bradford Road and at the same time a green Mitsubishi Shogun was at the lights on the outside lane.
"As the lights changed to green there was a collision between the two vehicles and the Almera also collided with a traffic light pole."
