Police launch investigation after violence outside Black Bull pub

Police have released an image of a man they are trying to trace in connection with an incident of disorder outside the Black Bull public house in Northgate, Dewsbury, at around 4.50am on Saturday, 2 August. Officers would like to speak to the pictured man in connection with public order and assault offences. Detective Constable Peter Brooke, of Kirklees CID, said: "I would ask anyone who recognises the man in these images, or indeed the man himself, to call Kirklees CID on 101."

A mass brawl in the early hours in Dewsbury town centre left a man with a dislocated hip.

The fight broke out outside the Black Bull pub in Market Place at around 4.50am on Saturday.

A 42-year-old man was taken to hospital with a dislocated hip.

An investigation has been launched but no arrests have been made yet, Kirklees detectives said.
