A MAN has been shot at his Denby Dale home.
Police are anxious to track down the gang thought to be responsible for the shooting.
The 35-year-old was shot in the leg at his house on Rockwood Rise at 8pm on Thursday. Moments later four men were seen driving away in a dark saloon car which had its lights switched off.
The victim was taken to Huddersfield Royal Infirmary with serious leg injuries.
A West Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said: "We are appealing for anyone who saw the car or the men in the area that night or prior to the shooting."
