A HUDDERSFIELD man has been charged with murdering 35-year-old Crosland Moor man Shaun Forde.

Jermaine Coore, 26, appeared before Huddersfield magistrates today.

He was remanded in custody to appear before Bradford Crown Court later this month. No application for bail was made.

A 26-year-old man who had also been arrested on suspicion of murder has not been charged but has been referred to immigration officials for questioning.

Police last night arrested a man aged 29 and a 25-year-old woman on suspicion of helping an offender.

They were being questioned by detectives today.

Police have also recovered a bronze Seat Leon car they had been searching for. It was discovered in Birkby.

Mr Forde died at a house in Gilbert Grove on the Walpole estate at Crosland Moor at about 8pm on Saturday evening.

A post-mortem confirmed he had died from a stab wound.

His mother, who lived in America, died in a road tragedy just under a month ago.

Mr Forde's father is flying from his home in Jamaica to be with Mr Forde's brother, who lives in Bradford.

Mr Forde was born in Jamaica and came to live in this country when he was young. He had lived in Huddersfield for several years.
