LOUD mouthed Yorkshire families are wanted for a new television programme.

Assistant producer Jessica Versluys says: "We would love to hear from families who think they are Yorkshire's answer to the Osbournes.

"We are producing a pilot programme for a potential new Channel 4 series. The series will take a lighthearted look at modern manners and family values. It will be presented by two middle aged ladies who are champions of common courtesy who are determined to reform some of Britain's rudest families and bring some good old fashioned values back into our lives.

"We are looking for two families from Yorkshire to take part. "

And who are the programme makers looking for?

"Families who are likeable and proud of their reputation of being loud and opinionated. Parents who believe in letting their children say what they want; do what they want, when they want.

"Or maybe a mum who wants the family to take part because she wishes her kids were better behaved and thinks this could be the chance to get some expert help.

"Over the period of the filming, both of the families will be aiming to change their ways and be declared Britain's most reformed family of the week.

"The pilot is being filmed at the end of January and we are keen to hear from people as soon as possible. Families who would like to find out more can call the team on 020 7751 7373 or email us at manners@rdfmedia.com.

"Friends, relatives and neighbours can suggest families who they think would be perfect participants. If someone recommends a family who is then selected to take part in the programme, they will be given £100."
