THE CASE of a former Huddersfield market trader accused of threatening and swearing at customers has been adjourned.

David Bentley, 49, of Bath Street, was due to be given an anti-social behaviour order (Asbo) by magistrates yesterday.

But his case was adjourned until March 15.

An interim Asbo preventing Bentley from entering Huddersfield Open Market and Byram Street was extended until March 25.

He is also banned from remaining in shops or markets once asked to leave by staff and from entering premises from which he has been barred.
