INTERNATIONAL Women's Day celebrations are being held at libraries in Kirklees next month.

On Wednesday, March 7, there's fun for all the family with a day filled with activities at Huddersfield Library.

Visitors can drop in between 10am and 3pm and join in with children's storytimes, felt-making, making a mini-beast for display in the library and a mini-beast badge to take home.

Members of the Bradford Real Nappy Project will be on hand with information with displays of real nappies.

Children can bring along their dolly or teddy and make a nappy for them.

On Wednesday, March 14, there will be an event at Batley Library, from 10am until 12.30pm.

As well as joining in with the Real Nappy project there will also be a craft-making session, when people can make a bracelet or a brooch inspired by nature.

All the sessions are free, but children require adult supervision.

Non-library members can attend by joining the library for free.

They need to bring along a form of identification.
