ENGINEERS from Northern Gas Networks are working to repair problems in Marsden.
The company says about 100 customers remained without supplies at 10.30am this morning and officials are giving out portable heaters to help those left in the cold.
It is thought water got into a gas pipe in the village, causing the problems.
Some homes have been without gas for 12 hours.
Marsden Mechanics Hall is offering people affected the chance to warm up and enjoy a hot drink at the Peel Street centre.
