DOZENS of people celebrated a birthday party with a difference.
They were at Marsden Parochial Hall for the 12th anniversary party of Marsden Kids Club.
The club is an after-school club for children aged between three and 11.
The organisers hosted the party which featured craft stalls, a teddy tombola, face painting, a balloon race and bunting made by the children.
There was also music from Marsden Infants’ Choir, Marsden Junior Choir and Marsden Junior Band as well as a dance display.
Marie Kerr, who chairs the group, said: “Another fantastic day had by all.
“I’d like to thank all of the local businesses who donated raffle prizes, everyone who came along and all of the staff and helpers who gave their time for nothing.
“We all have tired feet to prove what a good day it was.”
