A JUDGE will decide today whether the murder trial of two men accused of killing a teenager should be postponed until next year.

Anthony Driver, 36, and Luke Elliott, 21, are to stand trial for the murder of 19-year-old Craig Hepburn, of Scotland, who died after an incident in Marsden.

Judge Peter Collier QC sitting at Leeds Crown Court, is due to decide this morning if the murder trial can fit in to the court timetable before December 21.

If he determines the case can go ahead a jury will be sworn in and the prosecution will open the case today.

The trial, which is expected to last three weeks, had been due to start on Monday.

Mr Hepburn was stabbed in Marsden in the early hours of July 7.

Driver, of Grange Cottages, Marsden, and Elliott of Main Avenue, Cowlersley, are in custody.
