A GREEN group is holding its fourth annual clothes swap next month.
Marsden and Slaithwaite Transition Towns (MASTT) has organised the event for Wednesday, June 25, at the Watershed on Bridge Street in Slaithwaite.
The themes for this year’s clothes swap are maternity wear, holiday clothes and accessories.
Organiser Tiff Schofield says: “The events are always popular.
“It’s basically a big trying-on session, which is lots of girly fun.
“Everything participants take away is free, we just ask them to bring at least three clean, good quality items of clothing and accessories that they don’t wear to contribute to the swap.”
Any profits made on the day will help to support MASTT projects which include ‘Seedy Sunday’ events for gardeners, a community orchard and food projects at Colne Valley High School in Linthwaite.
Clothes swap tickets are available at the Green Valley Grocer on Carr Lane, Slaithwaite, and Slaithwaite Post Office on Lewisham Road.
