A MAN was robbed for his vodka and cigarettes.

And minutes later one of his attackers returned to take his credit card.

The 44-year-old victim had just left Shop And Save on Luck Lane in Marsh when he was grabbed by three muggers.

He had just bought a bottle of Red Square vodka, cigarettes and a bottle of coke.

He was shoved to the ground and kicked four or five times in his stomach and head before the gang took his shopping and fled.

But one returned moments later and demanded cash, so the victim handed his credit card over.

All three robbers are white, in their early 20s, around 5ft 7ins tall and wore hooded tops.

The robbery happened at 6.10pm on Sunday, November 15, but details have only just been released.

Det Con Russ Conlon from Kirklees CID intelligence unit said: “There is a suggestion there were a number of people around at the time who may have seen this totally unprovoked and cowardly attack.’’
