A TRADITIONAL martial arts group has returned to Huddersfield.
White Rose Aikido group has restarted their sessions at Huddersfield Sports Centre after a year lapse.
Aikido instructor Bernard Maloney said: “We have established groups in Halifax and the organisation started in Huddersfield in 1979, we want to reignite some energy and are coming back to Huddersfield once more to run beginners classes for adults.”
Aikido is a traditional Japanese martial art and its elements have been used for self defence training.
