THREE masked men attacked an Almondbury man in his home.

They burst into the house in Town End in the early hours of Wednesday to attack the 35-year-old victim.

They made demands for cash and property from the man and assaulted him, leaving him with cuts and bruises and left taking only the man's mobile phone.

The suspects left the area in a silver hatchback or estate car.

The suspects were three men in their late teens to mid-twenties, of medium build and between 5'6" to 5'9" tall.

Two of the suspects were wearing dark hooded tops. The third wore a lighter grey hooded top.

All wore scarves over their faces and spoke with local accents.

Any witnesses or anyone with information is asked to contact Det Con Shaun Lewis at Huddersfield CID on 01484 436665 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
