A NEW texting service which gives parents free advice on a variety of issues will be promoted on Saturday.

The Advisory Centre for Education (ACE) charity helps parents with subjects such as bullying, exclusions, special educational needs and attendance.

It is particularly keen to get dads to use the service and will be promoting it during the Huddersfield Giants and Warrington Wolves match at the Galpharm Stadium from 6pm.

Jenny Robottom, of ACE said: “This is the first time we’ve ever advertised at a rugby match.

“We particularly want dads to use the service and we thought it would be a great way to let families know how to get support.”
