AN apprentice at a Huddersfield car dealership has completed his studies with flying colours.
Matthew Littlewood, who works for Colin Appleyard Cars at Lockwood, has graduated from the Suzuki Advanced Apprenticeship Programme.
He is pictured with fellow Appleyard apprentices Simon McGann and Ben Goodchild (third and fourth from left), with (from left) service manager Evelyn Nield, Jennie Willan, who is Simon's girlfriend, Peggy and Colin Appleyard, who founded the dealership, and service managers Don Sperduto and Mark Thorpe.
Matthew took part in a graduation ceremony at the Heritage Motor Museum in Gaydon, Warwickshire.
The awards were presented by Suzuki technical director Barry Everett.
Also present were representatives of Suzuki GB and their dealer network along with industry training chiefs.
Matthew, 21, of Kirkheaton, was one of 17 students who completed three-year apprenticeships with Suzuki dealerships across the UK.
He is now a service technician at Appleyards in Lockwood.
Ben works at the Keighley dealership and Simon at the Ashton-under-Lyne dealership.
Matthew is now a service technician.
The Suzuki apprentice programme was launched in 2002 and now has more than 100 students on its books.
