We've signed up the first of a team of readers who'll share their thoughts with the world. Now we want other recruits to join them.

It's an ideal chance for all you writers out there to team up with us to produce your own internet diary.

And it's a good opportunity to show just what a wide range of views there is out there.

Our bloggers have already led the way with some fascinating work - proving it takes all sorts to make the world go round.

Topics they've covered include Christmas, folk nights and TV's Countdown.

Internet users who log on to see the blogs can leave their own comments on the sites, opening up an instant dialogue on the articles.

Huddersfield University music student Dan Greenwood, 33, is aiming to use his blog to highlight Longwood.

He lives there with his girlfriend Rhiannon and his two girls and he says there's no place quite like it.

We've also got Caz Wilson, 19, who is also studying music at Huddersfield University.

She is originally from Teesside and is an ardent Middlesbrough Football Club supporter.

She's called her blog Caz Says . . . and would like to point out that she feels entirely uncomfortable with the idea that people might actually read it or, even worse, agree with what she says.

Third up on the team is Estefania Aguirre, 20, from Spain and a second year student in journalism and politics at Salford University.

She was born in the United States and her father is an ophthalmologist consultant at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary.

Stef's so new to our ranks that she has yet to make a blog entry - but writing is one of her passions. Her blog will be called Stef's Stuff.

And to prove we're not shy at the Examiner, our own marketing man Andy Cook, 29, has got in on the game.

He's based his blog on the Fresh supplement published in the Examiner every Monday.
