THE end of an era in Huddersfield entertainment certainly revived memories.
The decision by brothers Johnny and Joe Marsden to sell off their Huddersfield Hotel and Johnny's nightclub business prompted a flurry of recollections.
And many paid tribute to the brothers, and other family members, for providing a welcome service over three decades.
The Marsden family sold the business to London and Edinburgh Inns and their final function at the Huddersfield Hotel was an 85th birthday dinner for the brothers' mother, Mrs Delia Marsden.
The family will continue to run the Central Lodge Hotel across the road in Beast Market.
