TWO men have been charged in connection with the death of a 12-year-old West Yorkshire schoolgirl.

The charges follow a long police inquiry into the tragic death of the girl, who was hit by a car as she walked to school in Morley.

Hannah Hudson, a Morley High School pupil, was hit by a Vauxhall Vectra at Britannia Road, Morley, on June 15.

She died later at Leeds General Infirmary.

West Yorkshire Police said a 21-year-old Middleton man had been charged with causing death by dangerous driving.

A 25-year-old Pudsey man has been charged with dangerous driving.

Both men have been bailed to appear at Leeds Magistrates’ Court on October 22.
