Two men have appeared before a judge at Bradford Crown Court following an attack on a taxi driver in Brighouse last year.
Michael Clarke, 29, of Whinney Hill Park, Brighouse, who has admitted assaulting cabbie Abdul Jabbar in May was remanded back into custody after his sentence hearing was adjourned by Judge David Hatton QC.
Former Brighouse man Luke Germain, 20, who now lives in Bradford, had previously pleaded guilty to stealing two mobile phones belonging to Mr Jabbar.
But the judge decided that both defendants should be sentenced at the same time.
Germain was granted bail until the next hearing on a date yet to be fixed.
