A man has appeared in court accused of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
Michael Riley, of Firthcliffe Mount in Liversedge, was before Kirklees magistrates.
The alleged offence happened at Whitworth Road in Dewsbury on November 23.
Riley also faces related charges of grievous bodily harm with intent, attempted GBH and assault.
The 40-year-old entered no pleas at the hearing in Huddersfield.
His case was committed to Leeds Crown Court, where he will first appear on May 5.
