AN exhibition showing the impact of strikes on mining communities is being launched next week.
The National Coal Mining Museum near Grange Moor is hosting the exhibition from Monday until April 10.
Strike: Not The End Of The Story commemorates the miners' return after the 1984/85 strike.
It traces the history of conflict and common themes that have been associated with mining communities.
Visitors can listen to miners and their families talking about their experiences of strikes from the 1920s to now.
