A COUPLE have appeared in court accused of dealing class A drugs.
Anthony Graver, 52, and Kerry Shaw, 26, were before Kirklees magistrates yesterday.
The pair both face a charge of possession of cocaine with intent to supply.
The offence is alleged to have taken place at the couple’s home in Foxroyd Drive, Mirfield, on December 1.
Graver faces an additional charge of possession of the drug with intent to supply.
This offence allegedly took place at Birch motorway services in Greater Manchester.
Vanessa Schofield, prosecuting, said that Graver’s car was searched at the service station and found with drugs attached underneath.
She said that this led to the search on the couple’s home, which they share with their two young children.
The couple have given no indication as to what their pleas will be.
Magistrates committed their case to Leeds Crown Court, where they will first appear on February 4.
Shaw’s bail conditions include a curfew between 10pm and 7.30am and that she surrenders her passport.
Graver has the same bail conditions, except his curfew is electronically monitored.
