A TEENAGER was mugged near his home.

Police are appealing for witnesses after the robbery in Stocksbank Road, close to the junction with Huddersfield Road, Mirfield on Saturday, April 28.

It happened at 2.15am as the 17-year-old male victim was walking down the road.

He became aware of two men following him and near the junction with Huddersfield Road, one of the males grabbed him from behind and got him in a headlock.

The suspect searched the victim's pockets and stole cash from him before running from the scene

Both suspects were described as being two white men wearing dark clothing, with hoods and scarves covering their faces.

One was around 6" tall and of medium build. The second was around 5'5" tall and skinny
