A Polish man who went missing more than 10 days ago has turned up safe and well.

Sebastian Michalak, a 31 year-old farm labourer, who was working in Denby Dale, was last seen on the morning of Friday, June 17, in Ochrewell Avenue, Deighton.

Police had said they had a “growing concern” for his safety earlier this week but Det Insp Mark Colman of Kirklees CID told the Examiner on Thursday afternoon that he was “fit and well”.

His family, who had been contacted by detectives, said they were “mystified” by his disappearance.
