A MAN was robbed as he walked home alone late at night.
The 29-year-old was strolling down a snicket off Moorbottom Road in Thornton Lodge when he was confronted by two men at 11pm on Tuesday.
One grabbed him around the neck while his accomplice rifled through his pockets and stole a Nokia mobile phone and a small amount of cash.
Both thieves are African-Caribbean men.
One is 5ft 11ins and has a square-shaped diamond stud in his left ear and a gap between his front teeth.
He wore a white T-shirt, black Nike tracksuit bottoms, black Nike trainers and a black Adidas baseball cap.
His accomplice is smaller, around 5ft 7ins and he wore a black T-shirt, a grey Nike hooded top, black tracksuit bottoms and white trainers.
