A mobility scooter went up in flames in Primrose Hill as it charged overnight.
The scooter set light to a shed at a bungalow on Primrose Grove just after 2am last night.
Firefighters from Huddersfield raced to the scene and found the shed fully ablaze.
The flames then spread to the barge boards on the gable end of the home. Firefighters used hoses to tackle the blazing shed and then climbed up the side of the property and removed the wooden boards to stop the fire entering the bungalow.
The four occupants of the property were not injured.
