HUDDERSFIELD Railway Modellers will hold their annual exhibition in Holmfirth this month, at Holmfirth Civic Hall on October 25 and 26.
There will be 14 model rail layouts in different sizes, including the club’s new OO gauge layout of Weybridge-on-Sea.
A digitally-controlled layout will be on show and there will be a Thomas the Tank Engine train track, where younger visitors can test their driving skills.
The event will also host a variety of trade stands where visitors can buy kit for their model railways or seek advice.
A tombola will be held and refreshments on sale, with proceeds from the event going to a charity to be nominated.
Last year’s £125 proceeds went to Martin House Hospice children’s facility at Wetherby.
A free bus service will operate to the venue from Huddersfield station on the hour. The exhibition will open from 10am to 5pm both days.
Admission costs £4 for adults and £2 for children. Concession tickets are £3 and family tickets, for two adults and three children, cost £12.
