CLOTHES and chocolate have helped to raise more than £650 for charity.

Models took to the catwalk for a fashion show in aid of the Royal National Lifeboat Institute.

As well as the fashion show, guests were able to enjoy a chocolate demonstration by Island Truffles and Treats.

RNLI member Pat Durrans said: “It was a fantastic night, everyone had a really good time and raised a lot for the charity.”

The fashion show was supported by the Old Post Office at Almondbury and Pied Piper children’s fashions of Denby Dale and took place at Huddersfield Golf Club, Fixby, on Wednesday night.

The Huddersfield branch of the RNLI will hold a coffee morning at Woodsome Golf Club on Wednesday, May 14, from 10.15am until midday.

There will be a cake stall, plant stall and raffles on the day. Everyone is welcome to attend and support the cause.
