RESCUE teams found the body of an 88-year-old man in the early hours of this morning.

The man’s body was discovered in the Holme Moss reservoir at 12.20am this morning after a four hour search.

He is believed to be from the Glossop area of Derbyshire.

Mike France from the Woodhead Mountain Rescue team said 71 people began to search for the elderly man at 9.30pm last night.

They used specialist search dogs to help trace the pensioner, who had been reported missing hours earlier.
