A TEENAGE soccer player who collapsed during a game has sadly died.

A TEENAGE soccer player who collapsed during a game has sadly died.

Huw Thatcher was playing for Hepworth Under 15s yesterday when he collapsed in a tackle.

The game was at Brighouse Town Juniors and was immediately suspended.

Huw was a pupil at Holmfirth High School.
