Mirfield man David Bolt compared young Conservatives with the Sonderkommando, Jewish prisoners forced to dispose of the dead in Nazi extermination camps.

The 20-year-old University of Huddersfield music student is the son of Clr Martyn Bolt of Mirfield, deputy leader of Conservatives on Kirklees Council.

David Bolt, chairman of West Yorkshire Conservative Future (CF), emailed fellow young activists calling on them to push hard to win marginal seats

The former Heckmondwike Grammar School pupil has been suspended from the Conservative Party.
