MOTORISTS faced hold-ups on one of Huddersfield's main roads following a crash this afternoon.
Police were called out after a blue Ford Ka and a silver Renault Clio collided on Penistone Road near Farnley Tyas at about 2.50pm.
It is understood at least one person suffered minor injuries but was not taken to hospital.
Traffic backed up in both directions while the incident was dealt with.
The road closed while highways officers carried out investigations but it reopened at about 5.30pm.
