A Honley-based veteran paramedic faces misconduct charges after a string of allegations that she stole money from patients, a hearing was told.

Colleagues of Angela Armitage at Honley Ambulance Station wrote to the Health Professions Council (HPC) with their concerns.

A meeting of the HPC Conduct and Competence Committee in central London said the allegations against Ms Armitage, who has worked in the area since 1978, stretched back to 2002.

Police had investigated but no charges were brought.
