A TEENAGE gang are being hunted after attacking and robbing a woman.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the robbery which occurred on Cross Road in Lowerhouses, between 1am and 2am yesterday on Sunday.
A 33-year-old woman was walking down Cross Road at its junction with Cross Grove when she took out a mobile phone to call a taxi.
The woman was then approached from behind by three or four teenagers who grabbed her bag, causing her to fall to the ground.
She was subsequently assaulted by the group who made off with her property.
The group are described as teenagers all under 5ft 5in tall wearing dark clothing. One is also believed to have been wearing a baseball cap.
