EXPERTS are opening up the town’s observatory during Moon Watch Week.
Next week members of the Huddersfield Astronomical Society are inviting people into the Crosland Moor observatory to look at the night sky.
It coincides with the 400th anniversary of Galileo looking through a telescope for the first time.
The nightly sessions start on Monday until Saturday (7.30pm to 9pm) on clear nights only. Entry is £2 or £1 concessions.
