STUDENTS at Moor End Academy have been doing their bit to help youngsters in Ethiopia.

They held a week of events at the school to raise funds for a school in Dukem Town, which takes in deprived children – many of them orphans.

The school relies on charity funds and Moor End pupils have already helped provide cash for a library.

Events included Tinsel Tuesday, when they all dressed up on a festive theme, and a disco.
