A BOY of eight was hurt when he was struck by a moped being ridden across a cricket field.
He was walking with his family and their dogs on the field off Green Lane in Westborough, Dewsbury, when the incident happened at 4.35pm on Tuesday.
The boy did not need hospital treatment, but police are anxious to trace the rider, who failed to stop.
The moped was last seen being ridden towards Dewsbury District Hospital.
