MORE Huddersfield motorists have been trapped doing nought-miles-per-hour.

The Examiner revealed Marsh motorist Kooser Arshad had received a ticket for allegedly running the lights at the junction of Firth Street and Wakefield Road, Aspley.

Her ticket said she was doing 0mph

The fine is £60 plus three points on her licence.

Now three more motorists say they were slapped with fines for nothing.

Leanne Boothroyd from Dalton said she was snapped whilst stuck in a traffic jam on Leeds Road.

Leanne, 21, was waiting to pull across the junction at Old Field House Lane and had only crossed the white line by a few inches.

She said: “I think it’s stupid giving people tickets for doing nought miles-per-hour.

“I’ve never had any tickets or any points before. I’m not going to pay it.”

Robert Thewlis said his father Raymond had been flashed by the same camera while he was stuck at the junction behind a double decker bus.

But Kevin Harrison from Meltham said trying to fight his 0mph ticket landed him with a £160 fine and six points on his licence.

“It’s not worth it,” he said.
