PUPILS at the independent Mount School, Huddersfield, won prizes for the field, track and classroom.

Austen House were winners of the Sports Trophy and the House Point Trophy.

The academic achievement award was presented to Sadia Pervaz.

New head boy and girl for next year are Harry Parker and Isobel Martin.

Hannah Walker got the award for services to the school. Henry Cash won the maths trophy while the English trophy went to Rajan Bhalla. Mary Baxter was recognised for her contribution to life in the lower school.

A notable achievement went to parents: their skipping race raised £262 in aid of the Helping Africa 100 Charity, which works with small community groups in Tanzania to help them become sustainable.
