COLNE Valley MP Jason McCartney is up for adoption!

Young people across the country are asked to hold their MP accountable on environmental issues in a campaign organised by the UK Youth Climate Coalition.

More than 375 young people have already adopted their MPs but the Colne Valley Tory has yet to be adopted.

Mr McCartney attended Parliament in the Park this week, where he met young people to discuss local environmental issues. He said: “I would really love for a young person to come and adopt me. The Adopt an MP campaign aims to encourage conversations between young people and MPs.

“Young people have already been contacting their MPs about issues ranging from cycle lanes and recycling to youth-lead community projects.”
