NURSERY nurse Ann Small is a real winner.

Mrs Small, who works at Moldgreen Community Primary School, was the final victor in our fabulous Six Days of Christmas competition.

And she went down to Broadbents Television at Swan Lane, Lockwood, to pick up her fantastic prize - a 42-inch plasma television and £1,000-worth of vouchers to spend in the shop.

Mrs Small works with the highly-successful autism unit at the Moldgreen school.

She lives in St Peter's Crescent, Kirkheaton, with husband John.

The couple have two children, David, 28, and Caroline, 25, and one grandchild, Sophie, with another due next March.

Mrs Small said: "It's terrific news.

"I always enjoy entering competitions but I never win - I've never been lucky. I still can't believe I have won today."

The 10 runners-up, who each receive £50 shopping vouchers, were: Mrs Linda Earle, Almondbury; Michael Beaumont, Waterloo; Jon Scott, Almondbury; Frank Burke, Kirkheaton; S Norcliffe, Netherton; Mrs B Berry, Longwood; Mrs Noreen Coletta, Dalton; Mrs E Turner, Netherton; Margaret Wainwright, Newsome; and Mrs Y M Earnshaw, Fenay Bridge.
