A WOMAN was due in court today charged with murdering her toddler daughter.
Sonia Bellfield, 30, is alleged to have killed two-year-old Jasmine at their home on Naylor Court, Dewsbury, on February 19 last year.
The little girl was thought to have suffered multiple injuries.
Bellfield was moved to a psychiatric hospital shortly after her arrest.
Mother and daughter lived at the house alone after Mrs Bellfield split from husband Martin Bellfield, 40, in 2009.
She was due to appear before Leeds magistrates today.
