TELEVISION sport presenter Gabby Logan is said to be over the moon after giving birth to twins.

A difficult 27-hour labour was followed by complications after the births of the boy and girl.

Gabby's dad - Huddersfield Town coach Terry Yorath - revealed it had taken a lot out of her.

"She lost a lot of blood, but was quite chirpy," he said.

"Gabby wanted them naturally and that's the way it happened."

The babies were born at 11.40pm on Thursday.

Reuben McKerrow Logan weighed 5lb and his sister, Lois Maya, was 6lb.

The ITV Sport presenter and her husband Kenny, a former Scotland rugby union star, confirmed in February that she was three months pregnant with twins after IVF treatment.

The couple issued a brief statement to say that they were "over the moon".
